The following information that you are about to indulge in are 10 examples of résumés. There are examples of chronological and skills-based résumés. Following each résumé link, there is a one sentence summary of the résumé. Next you will find a list of the top 10 action verbs that I found in my résumé review. Finally, there will be one paragraph stating what help I have gained from reading these résumés.

Impact on me:
After scanning through the internet and sifting out these 10 elite résumés, I learned many generic and specific ways to write my own résumé. Each of these résumés differs from the last. This sparked an epiphany in my mind. I thought, maybe my problem with my résumés was that I used the wizard on Microsoft Word. It made me wonder how many résumés employers' receive that look identical in the layout. I know to some extent there is a set form for a résumé to be written in. I think from now on in my résumé writing process I am going to focus on making my résumé stand out from the rest. I’ll attempt this by subtle changes in the sub-titles, the font, word usage, heading format, and other structural techniques. Hopefully this will help me get a job over another average person
